Gamdom's headline number is its top tier, and the top tier is a long way up. Platinum needs roughly $250,000 of lifetime wagering before the higher rate applies to anything. Until you get there you are on Bronze, Silver or Gold, which is $2.80 to $3.40 per $1,000. Our standard rate of $4.15 sits above all three of those from your first bet, with no tier to climb and no lifetime figure to reach.
That is the whole comparison in one line. If you will realistically wager a quarter of a million dollars, Gamdom's ceiling is higher than ours. If you will not, ours starts higher and stays there.
At Gamdom Platinum and above the number reaches $8.00 per $1,000 against our $5.90 launch rate and $4.15 standard. That is a real gap and no amount of framing changes it. A genuine high-volume player is better off at Gamdom, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.
Ignore any offer quoted as a percentage of wagering, of deposits, or of losses. Those three are not comparable to each other and are usually quoted that way on purpose. Convert everything to a share of the house edge, or to dollars back per $1,000, and the marketing falls away. Stake publishes its affiliate formula: (house edge as a decimal x amount wagered / 2) x the affiliate's rate. At our 25% that is 12.5% of the house edge reaching us, and we publish what share of it goes back out.
Every payment we make is listed on a public ledger with the date, a masked username and the amount, including the weeks we pay nothing. We have not found an equivalent from any Gamdom affiliate. That is not a reason to pick a worse rate, and if Gamdom Platinum pays you more, take it. It is a reason to be careful with any rate you cannot see being paid.
Stake's own rakeback is 3.5% of the house edge, about $1.40 per $1,000 wagered on a 4% slot, and Gamdom's tiers run from 7% to 20%, so on the casinos' own products Gamdom is clearly higher. The comparison changes when an affiliate shares its commission back, which is what Rakeback Paid does on Stake.
